Don Johnson Has A New Baby Boy!

Don Johnson and his wife, Kelley, welcomed a baby boy on Saturday Morning in Los Angeles.

The yet to be named baby boy weighed 7 lbs and was 27 1/2 inches long. Johnson stated he was "over the moon times six." Mother and baby are said to be doing well.

This is the third child for Don and Kelley who have a son named Jasper, almost 4, and daughter named Grace, 6. Johnson also has two other children, Dakota and Jesse, from previous relationships.

Don Johnson is best known for his roles in Miami Vice and Nash Bridges.

My Birthday Week..

For two of my birthday dinners (a birthday should be a week long celebration!) I checked out two newish restaurants in Chicago - Fulton's on the River and del toro. I also went to one great restaurant you can also count on for great food - Wildfire.

Fulton's on the River has a great location - right on the river in downtown Chicago. The menu consists of steak and seafood. Like your typical steakhouse, sides are served a la carte. I think it's location it probably the biggest draw. The food was good but nothing spectular for the price. I think Shaw's or Hugo's are much better. The wait staff was very nice but service was slow and unorganized. Another major con is my boyfriend got sick later that night SO we definitely will not be going back if it's up to us.

del toro is a trendy tapas restaurant located in Bucktown. If you are familiar will Bucktown, you probably have heard of Mod. del toro is in the old Mod space. Very cool interior especially if you get a table in the back of the restaurant. The food was very good but portions are small - which is fine for me and my friends but probably not for guys. Our waitress was great with recommendations and leading us through the menu. The only thing I did not like about the restaurant was they didn't give you an bread which I think is important for tapas-style dining. I would definitely recommend del toro, especially if you live in the Bucktown area.

Britney Spears Pregnant Again!

Us Weekly is reporting the rumor is true, Britney Spears is pregnant again.

According to the magazine, Spears was spotted poolside wearing a red bikini and a visible bump at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. The picture of supposedly pregnant Britney can be seen at UsMagazine.com. (I don't really see how you can tell from this picture, but anyway.) Sources say she is about four months along. Britney Spears,24, and husband, Kevin Federline, have a seven month old son named Sean Preston. Spears and K-Fed, 28, have been married since September 2004.

Angelina Jolie Interview!

Angelina Jolie speaks to NBC's Ann Curry for segments set to air on the Today Show and Dateline.

Angelina told Curry that the interest of others about her personal life makes her "giggle" and is "just kind of funny." She went on to say "If (Brad) saw this, he would probably understand why I was laughing. Because I just don't know hov to address that kind of thing. I don't talk about our – my relationship in public. But we also don't talk about it at home. … It's one of those funny things that just happens, and you live your life, and you're a family. But you never actually discuss (it)."

Jolie announced that she is not quite eight months pregnant and that she knows the sex of the baby, but isn't talking. Angelina said the reason she is doing the interview is to bring awareness to her cause, educational opportunities for children worldwide. She went on to say: "I just think, especially my daughter, there's no possible way she would have gone to school. She is so smart and so strong. And her potential as a woman one day is great. Hopefully, she will be active in her country and in her continent when she's older. And because she'll have a good education, she'll be able to do that much more. My life is very full. I'm very proud when I see my children – already Mad, just how he adjusts to different places in the world and different people and his views and the kind of man he's going to be. I'm very lucky."

Foo Fighter, Dave Grohl Has A Baby Girl!

Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, have a brand new baby girl named Violet Maye.

The 6 lb., 15 oz., 21 inch long baby girl was born on Saturday, April 15th in Los Angeles. The name Violet Maye comes from Grohl's grandmother. Dave describes her as "just perfect."

Dave Grohl's rep says father, mother and child are happy and healthy. Dave and Jordyn were married in 2003.

Last February, after not winning a Grammy, Grohl stated: "I don't need Grammys anymore, baby! I'm retiring. I'm going to write a children's book. Isn't that what you're supposed to do when you have kids? Or form a kid's band." I just love this guy!

The over-the-top couple has a whole floor above their bedroom in their Fifth Ave. home specifically for the new baby. The floor has a nursery, a kitchen, a living room and Nanny's quarters. Among the many gifts baby Trump received was a golden stroller!

Melania said of her new baby: "Sometimes I just think, 'Oh my God, this is my baby. I have a baby.' There's nothing like it. I love to feed the baby. Not because I have to, but just because I love it." She also said: "He's a very good baby. He's not like a crybaby – he's calm, and it's fantastic."

Tom Cruise Talks About Suri's Birth!

Tom Cruise will be on a 20/20 interview with ABC News' Deborah Roberts on Friday.

Tom Cruise will be discussing the new baby he shares with Katie Holmes. Tom says the birth of his daughter, Suri: "was everything that we wanted. It was spiritual. It was powerful. It was indescribable. What words can you use? It's still something that I'm processing and keep reliving."

He was also asked if he will stop doing his own movie stunts now that he has a new baby. Cruise replied: "No. I mean, I have three beautiful children (including Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman). And I love the adventure of life and filmmaking. … You can get struck by lightning walking out of your house… I’m interested in life. And, I’m very active and I love it." He did say that Katie Holmes was not so keen about that: "She said, 'That gave me the willies. I don't want to see that again.'"

Smoother Hair

I have several friends with naturally curly (i.e. frizzy when dryed straight) hair that swear by Phytobrush shampoo. Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise finally have a baby girl!

Katie Holmes delivered a 7 lb., 7 oz., 20 inches long baby girl on Tuesday in Los Angeles. Tom and Katie named their daughter Suri. Suri is a Hebrew name that means "princess."

Tom's spokesman, Arnold Robinson stated: "Both mother and daughter are doing well." This is the first child for Katie, 27, and the third child for Tom Cruise, 43. Cruise has a daughter and son from his previous relationship with Nicole Kidman. Suri is the first biological child for Cruise.

A Baby Girl For Brooke Shields!

Brooke Shields and her husband, Chris Henchy, welcomed a baby girl on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Daughter Grier Hammond Henchy weighed in at 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long. This is the second child for Brooke and Chris who have a daughter named Rowan. Rowan will turn 3 next month. Shields and Henchy were married in 2001.

Brooke Shields went through some rough patches after the birth of her first daughter, Rowan. She suffered from postpartum depression. Talking about this time around, Brooke told People: "This pregnancy has been a lot easier."

Melissa Etheridge and Partner Are Going To Have Twins!

Melissa Etheridge and her partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels, are expecting twins.

Melissa and Tammy announced on Etheridge's web site: "We are thrilled to announce that Tammy is pregnant, and expecting our twins sometime around this fall. To answer the obvious question: We used an anonymous donor from a bank."

Melissa, 44, and Tammy Lynn, 31, were married in September of 2003. Etheridge has two other children, an 8 year old son named Beckett and a 9 year old daughter named Bailey Jean, from a previous relationship with Julie Cypher. Melissa's two children were conceived by artificial insemination by David Crosby. The couple stated on their site: "These are our first two babies conceived together, but not our first time mothering together. For the past five years, we have been parenting two children from a previous time in Melissa's life. The twins will be a joyful addition to our loving home."

Melissa and Tammy Lynn also stated: "We are a blessed family, and ask that no gifts be sent. Any gifts we receive we will donate to a local women's shelter. However, well wishes are more than welcome!

A Baby Boy For Gena Lee Nolin!

Gena Lee Nolin and her husband, hockey player Cale Hulse, have a new son named Hudson Lee Hulse.

Gena, 34, delivered the 8 lb. 6 oz. baby boy on April 15th in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nolin's rep, Jerry Shandrew stated: "Mother and baby are doing well and resting comfortably."

This is the second child for the former Baywatch babe, who has an 8 year old son, Spencer, from a previous marriage. Nolin and Hulse were married in September of 2004.

Ewan McGregor Adopts!

Ewan McGregor and his wife, Eve Mavrakis, adopted a 4 year old girl from Mongolia.

A rep for McGregor stated: "I can confirm Ewan McGregor and his wife Eve Mavrakis have adopted the girl but cannot comment further." This is the third child for Ewan McGregor, 35, and Eve, 39. They have two biological daughters named Clara, 10, and Esther, 4. Ewan and Eve were married in 1995.

When McGregor did his 20,000 mile motorcycle trip for the "Long Way Round" TV series in 2004, one of his stops was Mongolia.

Sean Preston Falls From High Chair!

Britney Spears' son, six month old Sean Preston, fell as his nanny was lifting him out of his high chair.

Baby Sean slipped out of the nanny's arms and fell, causing his head to be bruised. A doctor examined the baby at the house, but Britney and Kevin Federline ended up taking the baby to the emergency room six days later. The hospital was required by state law to make a report to the Department of Children and Family Services, who later visited the Spears/Federline home. Spears' attorney stated: "DCFS immediately responded and determined there was no problem and no reason to open a formal investigation. They determined that the parents weren't involved in the injury and nothing was improper within the home."

Maggie Gyllenhaal and her fiancee, Peter Sarsgaard, are expecting a baby.

People magazine was given this information by the reps of both Maggie, 28, and Peter, 35. Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard (I just love saying that name "Sarsgaard," it makes me feel like a pirate. Gaaarh!) have been a couple for over four years. This will be the first child and the first marriage for Maggie and Peter.

Tom Dumont, guitarist for No Doubt, and his wife, Mieke, have a brand new baby boy!

No Doubt rep, Dave Tomberlin stated: "Tom and Mieke Dumont became first-time parents on April 6, 2006 as Mieke gave birth to their son, Ace Dumont. The couple is happy, excited and having a blast with their new little one."

Tom, 38, and Mieke met in 2001 and were married in 2004.

Tom Dumont's son will soon have a new playmate. Fellow bandmate Gwen Stefani's baby is due in June.

Apple Martin Has A Baby Brother!

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin welcomed a baby boy this weekend at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Gwyneth and Chris named their new son Moses Martin. This is the second child for Paltrow, 33, and Martin, 29. Their daughter, Apple Martin, was born on May 14th.

Paltrow told Oprah Winfrey in a past interview that the overwhelming love she feels for her child is "a whole new dimension in emotion that I've never experienced. It's crazy."

Shrug it off

I love shrugs because they are a cute, dressier alternative to cardigans. Whenever I wear a cardigan to dinner or out at night I am somehow reminded of work. That's no fun! Shrugs are great at this time of year because it's still a little too chilly to just wear a sleeveless top. Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie In Africa!

There is much speculation that Africa is the place where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's baby will be born.

Jolie and Pitt are reportedly staying at a Namibian beach resort in Africa. The couple arrived in Walvis Bay last Monday on a chartered jet from Paris. Brad and Angelina rented all of the 14 rooms and suites at the Burning Shores resort on Long Beach near the Namibian desert. Private security along with local police are surrounding the area and plan to confiscate any cameras.

Angelina Jolie has frequently traveled to Africa and called it a continent of hope and possibility. While filming "Beyond Borders," she spent many weeks in Namibia.

Copycat Clothing No More?

According to the NYTimes, high-end designers are fighting for copyright protection so knock-offs can't be produced the second a model walks down the runway wearing a new item. The copyright would last for three years. Retailers like H&M and Zara thrive on designer knock-offs. Other retailers play it safe and just use certain trends or attributes from high-end lines. This has been going on since the 1930's when American department stores would "borrow" designs from Paris haute-couture.
I highly doubt something like this would ever pass. And even knock-offs aren't exactly like the designs you see on a runway or in the window at Saks. So where would they draw the line?? There are so many variables in an item of clothing: color, fabric, cut etc. It would be impossible to lay out guidelines for what was considered a knock-off. If something like this would go through would it force retailers to be create and come up with their own styles??

Easy Labor For Melania Trump!

On Thursday, Melania Trump discussed the details of childbirth with the ladies of "The View."

Melania appeared on "The View" just two weeks after she gave birth to her first child with Donald Trump. Star Jones asked Melania how her labor went. Trump replied that the whole experience was "great" and that the birth was "very, very easy." Melania went to the hospital on Sunday, March 19th and the baby was born on Monday morning. The baby boy is named Barron William Trump. Joy Behar asked Melania if she had an epidural and she responded "of Course."
