Double Trouble For Angela Bassett!

Angela Bassett is a mom to twins!

Bassett, 47, and her husband, Courtney B. Vance, are new parents to twin babies. The twins, a boy and girl, were born on Friday to a surrogate mother.

Angela Bassett is best known for her role in the 1998 movie "How Stella Got Her Groove Back." Courtney Vance is known for his role as attorney Ron Carver on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The couple has been together since 1996.

A Maternity Break For Mariska Hargitay!

Actress Mariska Hargitay will be taking a maternity break from her hit show "Law & Order: S.V.U."

Mariska wrote the following in her blog: "I'm LOVING every minute of it and am so excited to be a mom. Not sure if you've heard, but the producers have decided not to make Olivia pregnant, so I won't be in a few episodes. But don't worry, the writers are working on some really great story lines, and there will be a special guest star filling in for me."

This will be the first child for Hargitay, 42, and her husband, Peter Hermann. The baby is reported to be a boy.
